Soccer Season... AGAIN

So this Saturday was our first round of spring soccer and we were wildly welcomed with a snow storm... again. Cameron's game was at 9:00 am and he played an AWESOME game. I would have taken photos but my fingers were entirely too cold. He ran faster than we have ever seen him run (maybe from the cold) and he scored 1 goal and assisted with 2 more for his team. We are so proud of Cameron's development in soccer over the past couple years. He said next year he wants to try out something different, Ken and I were a little disappointed, but are excited to watch him grow in baseball or football or whatever sport he decides to try next.

Maili's team gained another official member of the super elite "pink bubble gums" and all 5 of them showed up ready to play. However, the other team didn't fair quite so well. Only two little girls showed up and being that it was starting to snow and snow hard... her game was cancelled. She was slightly disappointed, but will definately make it up next week.

Kelton's game was rescheduled for Wednesday at 6... his team is the one I coach and I can't wait to get my boys back out on the field and see how much they have developed over the winter. I had a couple boys that played indoor soccer over the break.

Ken and I are refereeing a game every week and it's fun to watch the older girls play. We decided not to play indoor this session... and I'm really glad. I think it would have been a little too much for all of us. I play Futsal with the church team and that is really good exercise, but once a week is enough.

Hope everyone is doing well. I will try to keep an updated schedule on here for anyone that is able to come and watch our kids in their element.

Lance is home!

We are so excited to have Lance back home after his little detour through California. His neice's wouldn't leave him alone. Can't tell the girls are related can ya?

Kelton's 4th Grade Masterpiece

You know at the beginning of the term when the teacher is having the parent teacher conference and you nearly pass out at the amount of work that YOU not your child is going to have to do for upcoming "science fairs. book reports, and county projects." Well Kelton's teacher slammed us with two of them this term starting with a county report that didn't just have one project to complete it... OH NO... we have 5 thats right FIVE!!! Kelton was chosen to do his report on Box Elder County, which didn't seem so terrible. We managed to create a float, brochure, homemade item, locate a product made or that represented the county, as well as a written report. He had the opportunity to present them all at the 4th grade program this past week. Here is a couple pictures, hope you enjoy!!

Mailis School Pictures

Maili got new school pictures taken this past week. She practiced her smile in the mirror for a couple days. She only wanted to go to school that day because it was picture day. She is such a girl.

Not my favorite of her, but what can I say... SHE'S GORGEOUS!!
